🔹 Commercial Editions: Paid editions are provided under perpetual commercial licenses as described in the applicable license agreement. Support and maintenance may be included.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the software, except as permitted by law. You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices on the software.
5. User Accounts
Some features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are inactive for an extended period.
6. Your Data & Content
You retain all ownership rights to the documents, data, and content you store in LocalDMS. We do not claim any ownership over your data. For on-premises deployments, your data remains entirely on your infrastructure.
You are solely responsible for the content you store or share through LocalDMS. You represent that you have the necessary rights to store and process that content.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, videos, and software — is the property of LocalDMS or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or publicly display any website content without our prior written consent.
"LocalDMS" and our logo are trademarks of LocalDMS. You may not use them without permission.
8. User Submissions
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas to us, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and incorporate them into our products and services without compensation.
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not use LocalDMS for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocalDMS disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- Warranties that the software will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
- Warranties that the website will meet your requirements.
We do not warrant that any data stored in the software will be free from loss or corruption. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LocalDMS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES arising from or related to your use of the website, software, or services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the total amount paid by you, if any, for the software or services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. For users of the Community Edition, liability is limited to $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LocalDMS and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

14. Termination
